Linh Bubbio (Vietnam, 1998), also known as Dao thi Mi Linh, moved to Italy through adoption. From an early age, she has recognized art as a universal language capable of transcending linguistic and social barriers, becoming a tool for identity exploration and relational exchange. She graduated in Painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence in 2020 and continued her studies at the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts in Turin, where her practice expanded from painting to installation and site-specific work. During this period, she took part in the RigenerArti project, in collaboration with the Reggia di Venaria, presenting the work Meta-Morphé. Creatura oltre-forma (Venaria, 2021). In 2023, she created Con-Tatto, her first installation, and presented the triptych Sapa (Turin, 2023) at the fourth edition of REA Art Fair. In 2024, she held her first solo exhibition, Ca Dao. Echi, sussurri, pensieri congiunti, at Spazio3, Assab One in Milan, curated by Erica Massaccesi, featuring a site-specific installation. In the same year, she participated in the group exhibition Ritorno al Mondo Nuovo (Milan), presenting the series Sentieri dello Sbaron I, II, III, and collaborated on the project Preparo il mio zainetto di scuola (Turin). Alongside her artistic practice, she deepened her research in Creative Art Therapy at the University of Padua, obtaining her certification in 2025, a year that also marked the beginning of her collaboration with Galleria Vecchiato Arte. In the same year, she created the installation Hồn 魂 – Whispers of Eternity (Cilento, 2025) at the Franciscan Convent of Cuccaro Vetere. Her research moves between memory, transformation, and spirituality, exploring the body and space as sites of transition and reconnection. From this investigation emerged Essere Naru, a space dedicated to artistic research and expressive educational practices. In 2026, through her collaboration with Galleria Vecchiato Arte and the Gentiliamoci Festival in Padua, she presents the installation Mầm – intrecci gentili at the Museum space Oratory of San Rocco (May 9 – June 7, 2026), alongside her solo exhibition Petricore della pelle at the gallery Vecchiato Arte in Padova.
