Biondo Nazareno

Nazareno Biondo. Turin 1985. He has completed his artistic formation at the Accademia Albertina di Belle Arti in Turin. In 2007, he reaches the short degree presenting a thesis, and a series of sculptures on the four elements of nature (Air,Fire, Earth, Water) in relation to human unconscious, approaching his work on the concept of Land Art. In 2007, he reaches the short degree presenting a thesis, and a series of sculptures on the four elements of nature (Air,Fire, Earth, Water) in relation to human unconscious, approaching his work on the concept of Land Art. Since 2008 participates to some national and international sculpture symposiums, winning awards and competitions and realizing monuments. In 2012 he opened his laboratory, where from marble, material and matrix of his sculptures, Biondo brings out everyday objects in a search for perfection formal and conceptual elaboration. The great technical skills allow him to reach a cold hyper-realism with which it reproduces the finely weapons, waste and carcasses of contemporary society. The worked marble "by subtracting" contains in itself the forms that reveal the artist through his ironic but dramatic look on the world.
